Liberty Log Lodging is a small, owner-operated cabin rental business. That means we personally care for our cabins, oversee the details, and work hard to provide the kind of clean, comfortable, well-maintained stay guests expect from a five-star Hocking Hills getaway.
Instead of a large management company, you are booking with local owners who know the cabins, know the area, and want your trip to be memorable from start to finish.

Guests are asked to follow all posted hot tub rules, including no glass near the hot tub, keeping the cover on when not in use, and not sitting or standing on the hot tub.
Due to emptying and refilling between guests, the water may not be up to temperature upon your arrival, leave the cover on and it will heat up.

Hocking Hills is beautiful year-round.
Spring is popular for waterfalls and wildflowers.
Summer is great for family vacations, hiking, canoeing, and outdoor activities.
Fall is one of the most popular times to visit because of the colorful leaves.
Winter is peaceful and cozy, with fewer crowds, fireplaces, hot tubs, and beautiful frozen scenery. Our cabins are always decorated for Christmas during the month of December. Each season offers a different kind of Hocking Hills experience.
Sunday-Thursday will be less crowded. January and February are considered our off season.

It is best to book as early as possible, especially for weekends, holidays, summer dates, fall foliage season, spring break, and large group stays. Larger cabins in Hocking Hills often book earlier because there are fewer properties that can comfortably sleep big groups.
We typically open our calendars 15 months out, but will hold dates for return guests!
If your dates are flexible, midweek stays may offer more availability.
